8.5'' x 7'' x .875'' Mixed media. 1909 composition book containing knitting instructions rebound in black brillianta with the original paper cover adhered. The original folios are sewn into a concertina spine over black tapes with the binding exposed. The pages are collaged with images from the first quarter of the 20th century, largely related to the Suffragette movement. The book is housed in a custom black brillianta clamshell box with vintage knitting implements beneath a divider. A selection of pages can be seen by clicking here.
